Delete your account
You can delete your LitterLoops account at any time, from the app or by email.
In the app
- Open LitterLoops and tap You.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm.
It happens straight away.
By email
If you can't get into the app, email [email protected] from the address you sign in with, or tell us your handle. We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 7 days.
What's deleted
- Your profile: name, handle and photo.
- Your sign-in details, including the email, Apple or Google account linked to it.
- Every walk you've recorded, with its route and GPS points.
- Your posts, haul photos, likes, follows, reports and notifications.
- Your XP, level, streak and invite code.
- Photos you took of public bins.
What stays
- Streets you greened stay green until they fade, with no name attached.
- Public bins you added stay on the map for everyone, with no name attached.
Our database backups are kept for up to 7 days, so a deleted account is gone from those within 7 days too.
