Terms of use
Last updated 3 November 2026
These terms apply when you use LitterLoops. By making an account you agree to them. If you have questions, email [email protected].
Your account
- You need to be 13 or older.
- One account per person. Keep your sign-in email secure.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings. See delete your account.
Stay safe
LitterLoops is a game, and your safety matters more than a green street. Watch for traffic, don't go onto railways, private land or anywhere unsafe, and wear gloves or use a litter picker. Never pick up needles, broken glass or anything hazardous: report it to your local council instead. You're responsible for where you walk and what you pick up.
Be kind
Don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, or that shows other people without their consent. Don't impersonate anyone. Don't cheat, for example by faking walks or driving, or by reporting bins that aren't there. We may hide content or suspend accounts that break these rules. You can report walks and posts in the app.
Your content
Your photos and posts stay yours. By posting them you let us show them in LitterLoops to the people your settings allow, for as long as they're up. Delete them, or your account, and we stop.
The map
Map data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors and may be incomplete or wrong. Streets, areas and bins in LitterLoops are for fun and aren't a guide to whether a place is safe or public.
Affiliate links
The starter kit links to Amazon, and we earn a small commission on purchases. Orders are between you and Amazon.
The service
LitterLoops is free and provided as it is. We'll do our best to keep it running, but we may change or stop features, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer law, or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
Changes and law
If we change these terms we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change matters. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can also bring a claim where you live.
